Breathwork is generally safe when practiced under the guidance of a trained facilitator. However, intense breathwork may not be recommended if you are pregnant, have a history of seizures, or cardiovascular issues including high blood pressure. If you have any underlying health conditions, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting breathwork. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns about your suitability for breathwork. Sessions can be personalized and adjusted to meet individual needs if necessary.
No prior experience is needed. Breathwork is accessible to everyone, whether you’re new to the practice or have previous experience. I’ll guide you through each step to ensure you’re comfortable and supported throughout the entire session.
In-person sessions are preferred as they allow for a more immersive and connected experience. However, virtual sessions over zoom can be arranged if needed to accommodate your schedule or location.
I’m currently based in the Niagara Region, but I am open to arranging sessions in other locations throughout the GTA. If you’re interested in exploring options beyond Niagara, let's chat to discuss the possibilities!
A typical session lasts about 90 minutes. This includes an introduction, the breathwork practice itself, a guided meditation, and time for integration and reflection afterward.
The frequency of breathwork can vary depending on your goals and needs. Some people benefit from weekly sessions, while others find that bi-weekly or monthly sessions are sufficient. It's best to start with a few sessions to get a feel for the practice and determine what feels best for you.
